Spiced Cider

Spiced is a Hellsgard Roegadyn with mid-toned skin, grey-white hair and red eyes, standing at 7'3" with a very muscular build. She cuts an imposing figure, but it is somewhat offset by how docile she acts. "Gentle Giant" is a fitting description.

Personality-wise, Spiced is calm and cautious. She's not the most talkative of people, and what words she does say tend to be softly spoken, well pronounced and inexorably polite. She has a habit of pausing for a long time to think over her words before speaking. She's intelligent and well-read but a little slow at times; many jokes are liable to go over her head. Denseness notwithstanding, she's good-humored and quick to laugh - when she finally realises it's a joke.

She is far younger than she looks, barely into adulthood. She's not a leader by nature and will always look to others for guidance, though when responsibility is thrust upon her, she will take it quietly without complaints. She's rather anxious and is more put-off by the thought of making a fuss than stoically doing as requested and/or expected.

That said, she isn't shy. While she has no inclination to draw attention to herself, she's hard to embarrass. What she does, she does wholeheartedly and it doesn't occur to her that she may look silly doing so.

She is a worrier, a motherly soul. She would be the first to help someone up and ask if they were okay should they fall, and has made a hobby out of ensuring her friends are well fed. Having worked as both a housekeeper and retainer before adventuring, she is very used to doing things for people and has never quite figured out how to say 'no'. To her, every request is important, no matter how small.

Despite her humble manner and disinclination to fight, she is a powerful mage with a particular talent for black magic - much to the puzzlement of her teachers. She has no appetite for destruction as is often associated with Black Mages, instead content to use it as a tool to protect others. This also extends into a fondness for white magic (and by extension of the two, red magic), of which she shows an aptitude towards - though neither quite so notably as pure, unfettered black magic.
